“I have been in the industry for just over 25 years with formal training as a chef of which I have the majority of my career spent working and being in charge of kitchen around the country and a short stint oversees. About 7 …years ago I moved over into F&B and Operations management. I have worked in 3,4 & 5* hotels and game lodges including Sheraton in Pretoria, Fancourt in George as well as Sandton Sun & Towers Intercontinental. Highlights of my career was when I was in charge of the catering at Fancourt for all the players & the PGA for the Presidents Cup golf tournament that was held at Fancourt in George, assisting with the food preparation and service for the launch of the Nelson Mandela children’s fund as well cooking for President George W Bush and the Queen of England during their official visits to this country. I also helped with the catering for the Pavarotti “Farewell to Africa” tour concert in Centurion. What I hope to achieve at The Ranch is to assist with improving the standards of the F&B operation as well as seeing The Ranch firmly established as a preferred destination point in Limpopo.”
